How OEMs use our Rayong plant to add a Thailand-origin source — without restarting their qualification process from zero.
Switching overhead door springs from China to Thailand
A Texas-based manufacturer of garage door systems had sourced its overhead door torsion springs from a single region for five years. As lead times stretched and single-source risk grew, it qualified our Rayong plant as a second source — without shutting down its existing supply.

The program covered sampling, tooling and volume production, with inspection at incoming, in-process and final stages. The customer now runs a Thailand-origin supply line alongside its existing sources.
From first drawing to routine supply
Most programs follow the same four stages. The sequence is designed to protect your current supply while the new source is validated.
Drawing & feasibility
We review the part, the application and the volume, then confirm the manufacturing route.
Sampling
Samples are produced and measured against your drawing before tooling is released.
Validation
Your team approves samples and inspection documentation; we lock the process.
Volume supply
Production runs with incoming, in-process and final inspection, plus ongoing reporting.
The kinds of programs we support
Not every customer wants their name on a case study. These are representative program types, described without customer identification.
- High-volume compression springs for appliance and industrial assemblies, supplied with lot-level inspection records.
- PCB contact springs for electronics customers, with material and plating specified for contact resistance.
- Wire forms and stamped plates supplied as a combined kit to simplify incoming inspection.
Confidentiality
Customer names, drawings and program volumes are treated as confidential. Case studies are published only with written permission. We are happy to discuss relevant experience under NDA.
