What we make

A second production location for drawing-controlled parts

Automotive buyers need repeatability, documented inspection and a supply route that does not depend on a single location. Our Rayong plant combines spring winding, wire forming, stamping, heat treatment and in-house testing under one quality system.

ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 are in place. Certification of an automotive quality management system is in progress; we state that plainly rather than imply a certificate we do not hold.

  • Compression, extension and torsion springs for sub-assemblies
  • Wire forms and stamped spring plates
  • Salt spray and fatigue testing in-house
  • 2.5D dimensional inspection
  • Rayong, Thailand production base
Typical applications

Where our parts fit in the vehicle

We supply springs and wire forms for automotive sub-assemblies. The drawing, material specification and test plan define the part; we confirm feasibility before quoting.

Capability

Automotive spring specifications

Current production is shown below. The inspection and test plan is agreed at RFQ, including any documentation your program requires.

Parameter Capability
Product types Compression, extension and torsion springs; wire forms; stamped spring plates.
Wire diameter 0.08–8.0 mm in current production. Planned expansion to 12.0 mm as new equipment is installed.
Materials 65Mn, 72A, 82B, 60Si2Mn; stainless steel 301, 302, 304 and 316.
Heat treatment In-house stress relief and tempering.
Surface finish Anti-rust oil, electrophoresis (E-coat), zinc plating, nickel plating, spray coating.
Wire tolerance JIS wire tolerance by grade. ASTM wire specification and SMI commercial tolerances available for US programs.
Testing Load and torque testing, 2.5D vision measurement, salt spray testing and fatigue testing.
Quality system ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Automotive QMS certification in progress.
Documentation Inspection and test plan agreed at RFQ.
Samples Prototype and pre-production samples against drawing.

Wire diameter is inspected to the JIS tolerance of the ordered wire grade. For US programs, we can quote and inspect to the relevant ASTM wire specification and SMI commercial tolerances.

Material selection

Materials and finishes

The wire grade and finish should follow the load, fatigue and corrosion exposure of the application — not a default.

Carbon spring steel

65Mn · 72A · 82B · 60Si2Mn

Selected for strength, elasticity and fatigue performance according to the load cycle and the material specification on the drawing.

Stainless steel

301 · 302 · 304 · 316

Used where moisture, cleaning or a corrosive environment makes a coated carbon spring unsuitable.

Surface finish

Oil · E-coat · zinc · nickel · spray

Anti-rust oil, electrophoresis, zinc plating, nickel plating and spray coating are available; salt spray testing is performed in-house.

Inspection and testing

Tested against the plan agreed at RFQ

Automotive programs need evidence, not just a good first part. We run load, torque, salt spray and fatigue tests in-house and inspect critical dimensions with a 2.5D vision system.

  • Raw material tensile strength and metallographic structure
  • Load and torque testing against the drawing
  • 2.5D vision measurement of critical dimensions
  • Salt spray testing for plated and coated parts
  • Fatigue testing for cycle-life validation
  • Inspection records agreed at RFQ
